Bay Area STTI Consortium

Our annual research conference reflects our commitment to knowledge, community, and leadership. In previous years, our research program highlighted the accomplishments of AEC members for a gathering of AEC members. In 2002, member Cathy Bain, dual member with AEC and Beta Gamma Chapter at University of San Francisco (USF), requested that we co-sponsor a fall research conference.

That first year, two nurse researchers from each campus presented on the Lone Mountain Campus at USF. Over the subsequent two years the conference expanded to include more chapters, ultimately evolving to the Consortium. We now identify researchers from the community at large and make the information available to a larger pool of STTI members.

The Consortium now includes the following chapters:

• Alpha Eta (University of California, San Francisco)
• Alpha Gamma (San Jose State University)
• Beta Gamma (University of San Francisco)
• Nu Psi (San Francisco State University)
• Nu Xi-at-Large (Holy Names College, Samuel Merritt College,
  California State University East Bay.

The Consortium, won a Showcase of Excellence Award from STTI in 2006.
